Q. Can I install the Drainguard grate myself?
A. Yes the Drainguard grate is simple to install yourself. All you have to do is twist your current drain guard off and then simply place your drainguard over the drain hole and twist it in. It's that easy!

Q. I have a cockroach problem, will the Drainguard help?
A. Yes the Drainguard will stop cockroaches.

This is because of the distinctive 's' bend feature to allow for suds, cockroaches and other insects from coming up through the grate.

Q. I have sand flies, midgies or cockroaches. Will the Drainguard help?
A. Yes, together with the revolutionary 's' bend feature and the sealed cavity of the Drainguard, small insects cannot come up through the grate. You will never have trouble with cockroaches, sandflies, and midgies again! And best of all its environmentally friendly.

Q. Is the Drainguard suitable for a septic tank or a bio tank?
A. Yes, the Drainguard is suitable for septic tanks and bio tanks. It is environmentaly friendly and uses no chemicals. The Drainguard will also prevent any bad odours from coming back up the drain.

Q. I have an odour problem and it seems to be coming from the drains. Will the Drainguard help this?
A. Absolutely! This is the main reason the Drainguard grate was designed, to get rid of and prevent bad smells from coming back up through the drain. The Drainguard does this by having a sealed cavity below the grate that allows no odours to escape through.

Q. I am very conscious of the environment and I don't like using harsh chemicals. Will I need to use these chemicals with the Drainguard?
A. Drainguard is 100% environmentally friendly and we use biodegradable products.
